It is indexed in the World Health Organization Index Medicus for Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMRI), Scopus and Extramed of the United Kingdom and International Serial Data System of France.

Bahrain Medical Bulletin levies an article-processing charge of $1249 (USD) for each article accepted for publication to cover the publication expenses - including the cost of peer review management, journal production, online hosting and archiving.
